Project Scope & Engineering Execution

RES & Associates was commissioned to deliver comprehensive MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design for the replacement of digital radiography equipment in Room A544 of the Emergency Department. Working inside a fully operational acute care environment, our team engineered the scope so that adjacent trauma and treatment suites remained active throughout every phase of demolition, installation, and commissioning.

Our electrical team designed dedicated branch circuiting and grounding for the new imaging array, sized feeders for the manufacturer's momentary draw requirements, and isolated the equipment from sensitive hospital circuits to eliminate transients. In parallel, mechanical systems were re-balanced to maintain required air change rates and equipment heat rejection within the imaging suite, with all documentation coordinated for state healthcare authority review.
