RES & Associates delivered comprehensive MEP engineering for the full remodel of a 14,270-square-foot restaurant in Porter Ranch. The scope reached every part of the operation — commercial kitchen, raw bar, dining room, bar, and back-of-house — and had to be documented to health department and building code standards in a single coordinated package.
RES & Associates provided comprehensive MEP design for the renovation of a 126,768-square-foot tile and stone showroom and retail facility in North Hills. In a materials showroom, lighting is the product: color temperature, rendering quality, and uniformity determine whether a customer sees marble accurately, so the lighting design drove the entire engineering approach.
RES & Associates delivered comprehensive MEP engineering for a 12,200-square-foot, two-building tenant improvement housing a brewery, a cider house, and an outdoor beer garden. Production brewing is effectively light industrial work placed directly next to a public taproom, and the design had to carry both without compromise to either.
RES & Associates provided comprehensive MEP design for a three-story, 15,000-square-foot restaurant and bar, covering power and lighting renovations across the commercial kitchen, dining floors, bar, and tenant improvement areas. Hospitality spaces are judged on atmosphere, so the engineering had to serve demanding back-of-house equipment while disappearing entirely from the guest experience.
