Project Scope & Engineering Execution

RES & Associates served as Owner's Representative for MEP systems on the Midfield Satellite Concourse at Los Angeles International Airport, a new passenger facility extending the Tom Bradley International Terminal with approximately 150,000 square feet of modern terminal space. On a project of this scale, the Owner's Rep role is the safeguard that what gets designed, procured, and installed is what the airport will actually be able to operate.

Our team reviewed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design documentation against the owner's operational and performance requirements, evaluated submittals and equipment substitutions, and monitored installation quality in the field. We supported coordination between design teams, contractors, and airport stakeholders, and participated in commissioning and closeout review to confirm MEP systems performed as specified before the facility opened to passengers.
