Project Scope & Engineering Execution

RES & Associates was engaged to deliver comprehensive MEP design for the installation of a new SPECT CT system serving nuclear medicine across the medical center and the Merle Norman Pavilion. At 1,200 square feet, the scope extended beyond the scan room itself to include control, equipment, and support spaces, each with its own power, cooling, and shielding requirements.

Our electrical engineers designed the distribution upgrade, dedicated equipment panels, and clean power feeds required for hybrid imaging hardware, while mechanical design established the cooling and ventilation strategy for continuous scanner operation and technologist comfort. Plumbing scope addressed hot lab and support fixture requirements. The project is being delivered in phases under construction administration, with our team supporting submittal review and field coordination through completion.
